Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Abboushi's journey to dentistry was inspired by his father, a devoted physician, whose compassion and commitment to patient care left a lasting impression. This early exposure, combined with shadowing a family friend in dentistry, revealed the unique intersection of science, artistry, and personal connection that the field offers. These experiences solidified his decision to pursue a career where he could make a tangible difference in people's lives.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Abboushi’s academic career began at George Washington University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in biology. He further honed his scientific expertise with a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from Drexel University. He then pursued his dental education at New York University. Today, Dr. Abboushi is certified in Invisalign, ABLS laser therapy, and dental implants through Hiossen, ensuring he offers his patients cutting-edge treatments with precision and care.
Always striving to improve, Dr. Abboushi is an active member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and the American Board of Laser Surgery.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When he’s not working, Dr. Abboushi is likely pursuing one of his many passions. He is an avid powerlifter, and he finds a great deal of discipline and focus in his training regimen. Traveling is another favorite pastime, allowing him to explore new cultures and gain fresh perspectives. To relax, he enjoys immersing himself in the world of cinema, appreciating the art of storytelling. Whether mastering a new skill or cooking a creative dish from scratch, Dr. Abboushi gravitates toward hobbies that inspire personal growth and creativity.
